
OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management (GRADIOSH)
OBJECTIVES:
Aspiring health and safety professionals can earn the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management. It is intended for students who are in charge of creating and implementing health and safety policies on a daily basis in an organization. They are probably managers who want to expand their capabilities and knowledge. The OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management is designed to help managers who have the power and personality to turn organizational strategy into successful operational performance strengthen their occupational health and safety management skills. This certification represents contemporary methods in occupational health and safety management and allow learners to develop and enhance their knowledge of workplace occupational health and safety.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- The relevant qualifications are necessary for enrolment into the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management program
- a Level 6 qualification, such as the Occupational Health and Safety Management Level 6 Diploma, or an equivalent Level 6 qualification, at a minimum
- a degree with honor’s and sector competence in occupational health and safety
- At the start of the course, learners must be 21 years of age or older

QUALIFICATION STRUCTURE:
The 6 essential courses that make up the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management include 120 credits, 1200 hours of Total Qualification Time (TQT), and 600 hours of Guided Learning (GLH) when the qualification is successfully completed.

DURATION AND DELIVERY:
The certification is flexible in how it is delivered to allow for part-time and distance learning in addition to being designed to be completed over the course of one academic year for full-time study. The qualification is delivered face-to-face, through lectures, tutorials, seminars, distance, online by approved centres only.
ASSESSMENT AND VERIFICATION:
The centre conducts internal assessments of each unit for this qualification, and OTHM does an external verification. The credentials are based on the accomplishment of all the predetermined learning outcomes and are criteria referenced.
Learners must present proof that they have satisfied all learning outcomes and complete all assessment criteria requirements in order to receive a “pass” for a unit. The Assessor decides whether or not the Learners successfully met the assessment requirements.
An audit trail should be provided by the assessor to demonstrate the decision-making process used to determine the learners’ overall success.
